I read an article recently on RecruitingDaily.com describing just how much the candidate experience has changed and what we should be considering.

With every interview now being done via videocall or on the phone it’s easy for candidates to feel as though they’re just on a conveyor belt, with no real connection to the process. We always try to make candidates feel as connected as possible at Atkinson Moss.

I love their recommendation to be empathetic to candidates and their situations – many have experienced redundancies, isolation, and other unexpected challenges over the last year. They may seem overqualified but likely wouldn’t be looking for a new position without the pandemic, so being kind and considering every application equally is important.
