We are currently working with a successful firm within the retail industry who are seeking an experienced payroller to join their team.

Key responsibilities of the role include

Responsible for the end to end payroll processing for high volume employees

Process manual calculations

Assist with P11D data

Entering employee amendments including starters, leavers, bank detail changes, personal data, ad hoc payments/ deductions and tax record amendments on the payroll

Providing second level support for HR, responding to payroll queries

Validating and distributing Bankers’ Automated Clearing System salary payments each month, and producing tax information on a monthly and annual basis i.e. P45, Real Time Information returns, P60, P11d

Running regular and ad hoc reports from the payroll and accounts systems for HR and external auditors, and general administrative tasks such as dealing with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs queries, assisting HR Advisors

Your skills and experience

Experienced volume payroller with the ability to perform manual pay calculations

Strong administrative and interpersonal skills

Excellent multi-tasking, organisational and follow-up skills

Attention to detail and Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications, in particular, strong analytic and Microsoft Excel skills
